Het Kortrijks Symfonisch Orkest brings an hommage to. the Romantic Era. Starting with the ouverture to der Freischütz which marks the dawn of the Romantic German opera, the program continues with the magical Rückert Lieder by Gustav Mahler and culminates with the 7th Symphony by Antonín DvoÅ™ák.

Exciting times, this September 2020, I was admitted in the newly formed class of maestro Robin Engelen at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles.

Thinking of the aphorism by Winston Churchill, "Never waste a good crisis", I thought it would be a great opportunity to study under the guidance of an experienced conductor during this worldwide cultural pause. More information on maestro Robin Engelen via this link.
Final 7 for assistent-conductor at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège OPRL, May 2019.
Together with 6 internationally acclaimed collegues selected out of 80 applicants, we got the oportunity to conduct and rehearse with the OPRL at their amazing concert hall in a program of Schubert 's 5th Symphony and Bartok's Dance Suite.
Final 12 at the Nino Rota Conducting Competition in Matera, Italy.
In my very first conducting competition in october 2018, after being selected with 75 conductors out of 176 applications, I made it to the next round and the final 12. An amazing experience that was very instructive but mostly I got to meet a lot of like minded people.
